Founded in 1999, it has over 25 years’ experience in the extraction and processing of non-metallic minerals, particularly silica sand and kaolin.

The quality of our products and customer satisfaction are our main focus. We respond to market needs through innovation and the development of tailor-made product solutions, in accordance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Lusosílica’s main clients operate in business areas such as glass, ceramics, cement and tile adhesive (concrete, mortars), civil construction, foundry, asphalt, the rubber industry, industrial chemicals, paints, agriculture, swimming pool filters, golf courses, the engineered marble (stone) industry and filters.

We conduct our activities using modern, innovative technologies, with full respect for the environment, so that our industry may serve as an example in terms of protecting, conserving and enhancing natural capital, as well as safeguarding the health and well-being of all stakeholders.

The group has 4 production units that ensure an efficient supply to a diverse range of markets.
